System Transformation
The Disability System in Aotearoa NZ is currently in a process of ‘transformation’. An important aspect of this new system is the active involvement of families / whanau at all stages of the process including ongoing leadership and governance.
Regular forums are held in the Bay of Plenty for people with lived experience of disability which will offer insights into the new system and ideas on how we can all prepare for this new era.

However, when combined with other strands of silk, it gains strength and the material is able to be manufactured into a garment that can have great value and beauty. The silk thread mirrors what can be achieved in the lives of the people we support." ©
