Are you looking for support for yourself, a family member or friend?
If you require support for just a few hours to many hours a week, we will sit with you and/or your family member to identify when would be the best time/s for your support to be available and what support you would like.
SILC offers the following services:
These services can all be incorporated into a tailored solution for the individual, in their current home or in an arranged flatting situation, and are available both as Ministry of Health funded contracts or as a privately funded support service.
Our Personalised Support options are funded by the individual and their family, and allow for an entirely flexible service for those who would like support beyond the capacity of the Ministry of Health contract options. To learn more about Personalised Support, click here.
Our Ministry of Health Residential Support contracts provide a person with an intellectual disability access to support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in their choice of living arrangement as decided with them and their family/whanau. SILC provides a house to live in, all communal furnishings, transport, and each of the services listed above. It would be usual they would flat with no more than three others. Our Ministry of Health Supported Living Services are designed to support individuals with as little or as much support as they require to maintain their independent living in the community. This service is provided to people who live in their own home, alone or with their family or to people who wish to flat with others. To learn more about Supported Living Services, click here.
We are also able to assist those with Individualised Funding. To learn more about how we can work with you, click here.

"An individual strand of silk is very fragile, and easily overlooked. However, when combined with other strands of silk, it gains strength and the material is able to be manufactured into a garment that can have great value and beauty. The silk thread mirrors what can be achieved in the lives of the people we support." ©
